I actually have to give his daddy most of the credit for teaching him how to cook. His dad is a great role model and actually has the patience to make it work! I was more of the sous chef in this scenario.

The cinnamon rolls were definitely tasty. I love it when I hear people say that their kids like to cook. I am actually not a “natural” in the kitchen… but I love to be in the kitchen with the kids.

It really is amazing just how much you can teach while cooking. You can cover safety, science, creativity and more. All while making a tasty treat.

My hubby is actually a better cook than I am (although, I’m not so great, so being better than me may not be a compliment…). Glad the kids have such a wonderful role model.

Jennifer, we tried the “worlds easiest cinnamon rolls” from the minimalistbaker.com. We topped it off with a store-bought frosting because we didn’t have the ingredients to make one from scratch. The next time we make them, I will be sure to have everything we need. πŸ™‚
