If you are anything like me, you throw away more leftovers than you eat. Not because you don’t want to eat the leftovers, but because you forget about them and, eventually, get them confused with your kid’s Petri-dish science project.
I found the answer to this problem in a simple dry erase vinyl decal.
The beauty of the dry erase vinyl decal is that it is very inexpensive, and it sticks to any fridge (even those stainless steel ones that aren’t magnetic).
There a lot of options for dry erase vinyl decals. You can find them on Amazon or at any number of stores, such as Target and Walmart. I got mine at Staples. It is part of the Martha Stewart line, and cost a whopping $4.99. (The cost of the food that I typically throw away in a week is far more than $4.99.)
One more added bonus… the decal covers up a couple of scratches on our refrigerator door!
