Making Dinner is a Snap With Pillsbury #sponsored #PillsburyBiscuits

When my kids started school this year, it seemed as if time was altered and the days actually got shorter. However, according to my clock, each day still has a full 24 hours. Unfortunately, I still struggle to find the time to get everything done.

Dinner can be especially difficult since I have three very picky eaters in my house. I will confess that I am one of the picky eaters. I was so bad as a kid that my mother would often make two different meals. One for me, and one for everyone else. (I don’t know how she found time to do that, so before I continue, let me just say, “Mom, thank you and I’m sorry for being such a pain.”)

I am always looking for simple, time-saving meals that can be easily modified to accommodate even the pickiest of eaters. That is why I love to cook with Pillsbury®. Not only do they make great products, but they have also created a wonderful booklet of quick and easy recipes that make mealtime easier.

There are so many great recipes from which to choose. The Grands!® Taco Melts are delicious, and the Grands!® Grilled Cheese Sandwiches would go great with vegetable soup.

In my house, pizza is always a winner, so we pulled out our Pillsbury Grands!® Refrigerated Biscuits and all of our favorite toppings to make Grands!® Mini Pizzas. (If we order out, we have to order multiple pizzas to make everyone happy – that is just too expensive… and nowhere near as good as homemade.)

It was as simple as placing the biscuits on a baking sheet, flattening them out into mini pizza crusts, and then going to town with our favorite toppings:

  • My pizza: mozzarella, pepperoni, mushrooms and spinach
  • Rahn’s pizza: feta, spinach, yellow bell peppers and tomatoes
  • Isaac’s pizza: mozzarella, pepperoni, yellow bell peppers and olives
  • Max’s pizza: mozzarella, pepperoni and mushrooms

The end results are delicious and adorable – the perfect quick and easy meal for those busy evenings.

(I also think this would be a really fun idea for a kids make-your-own-pizza birthday party or play date!)

Thank you, Pillsbury® for making my life easier and giving me back a little of the time I thought I had lost when the kids started school this year.

This would be a great classroom activity to pair with reading the book “Curious George and the Pizza Party”. You can use the biscuits to let the kids make different shapes for their pizzas, just as George does.
