About Oy Vey a Day

oyveyaday.comOy vey: a Yiddish phrase of exasperation or consternation. From the phrase, “oy vey iz mir,” meaning “oh woe is me.”

Welcome to Oy Vey a Day, a parenting and lifestyle blog. My name is Dianna, I am a wife and stay-at-home mom to 2 preschool-aged boys. I confess that I am not a “natural” at parenting, cooking or crafting, but I muddle through – and try to keep a smile on my face while doing it. However, no matter what, I have at least one “oy vey” moment every single day.

I believe that the “oy vey” moments, while no fun at the time, often make for the best, longest-lasting memories. They are the moments I laugh about the most when sharing with family and friends – especially other moms.

I write about: my experiences as a parent; recipes & crafts that anyone can do; and products that (hopefully) make life a little easier.

My goal is to help you avoid life’s “oy vey” moments… or maybe just help you realize that you are not alone in having them.
